On July 3, 2024, the Moroccan University of Agriculture, affiliated to the National Union of Workers in Morocco, held a meeting to discuss a number of issues of concern to employees and employees of the agricultural sector, in addition to the general social situation in the country.
The university warned against the strategic plan of the Ministry of Agriculture, considering it disastrous for the sector, and called for its review through a national dialog that includes all stakeholders.
The university denounced the high prices of the recent Eid al-Adha sacrifice, pointing to the mismanagement of the livestock sector and the absence of price control, and called for holding those responsible accountable.
