Rabat: On March 21, 2025, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Amir Al-Mu’minin, graciously appointed the new members of the Supreme Council for the Financial Control of Public Endowments.
This royal appointment, announced on Monday, April 21, 2025, was made in accordance with the provisions of Article 159 of the Royal Decree No. 1.09.236, issued on February 23, 2010, relating to the Code of Endowments, as amended and supplemented.
The royal appointment included two main components:
Firstly: The renewal of the mandate of four current members of the Council for an additional five years. These are Ms. Majida Ziani and Messrs. Mohamed Swabi, Mohamed Qarrat, and Mohamed Jarmouni, in recognition of their previous efforts and experience in serving the Council.
Secondly: The appointment of eight new members to the Council for a five-year mandate. The new members are Messrs. Abdel Kabir Ablagh, Mohamed Hadhouidi, Abdel Moughith Benchad, Mohamed Wael Aaminou, Farid Radah, Abdel Karim Kari, Said Mrabet, and Mohamed Kamal Nashwani. These new members are expected to inject fresh perspectives and diverse expertise into the Council’s work.
The Supreme Council for the Financial Control of Public Endowments is a constitutional body responsible for overseeing the finances of public endowments and ensuring their sound management and investment in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. This appointment aims to strengthen the Council’s role in preserving and developing endowment funds for the benefit and interest of the beneficiaries.
