A shepherd captured the dramatic moment a private jet, a Hawker 800, crashed into a field near Fes-Saïs Airport while attempting to land in a sudden and unexpected accident.
The man, who miraculously survived the incident, shared a video showing the moment of the crash. In the video, he appeared in shock and disbelief as he pointed to the scene of the crash unfolding before him.
The shepherd explained that he couldn’t comprehend what had just happened, as he was taken by surprise when the plane suddenly plunged into the field.
The aircraft, which had been coming from Marrakesh Menara Airport, encountered a severe accident while attempting to land at Fes-Saïs Airport. The plane skidded at the end of the runway before flipping over, injuring the three crew members on board with varying degrees of severity. The injured were immediately transported to the hospital for treatment.
The shepherd who filmed the incident also sustained injuries and had to be hospitalized after the crash.
This accident raises many concerns regarding air safety in the region, with increasing calls to strengthen aviation safety measures and preventive actions to avoid similar incidents in the future.
