Fez – April 24, 2025 – The “Youth Pass” caravan, an initiative of the Regional Directorate for the Youth Sector in the Fez-Meknes region, made a stop at the Higher Institute of Nursing Professions and Health Techniques in Fez. The visit aimed to familiarize the institute’s students with the various privileges and services offered by the pass to Moroccan youth in general.

During this outreach event, detailed presentations were given to the students about the advantages provided by the “Youth Pass.” These benefits include facilitated access to national museums and cinemas, the possibility of booking local sports fields for matches, as well as discounts on train, bus, and tramway tickets, among other youth-oriented programs and activities.

Mr. Ismail Hamraoui, the Regional Director of the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication – Youth Sector for the Fez-Meknes region, also opened opportunities for students from the Fez institute and its annexes in Meknes and Taza to benefit from the Ministry’s thematic summer camps and the “Volunteer in Summer Camps” program specifically designed for the nursing field. This initiative allows students to combine volunteer work with the development of their skills in the health sector.

The visit culminated in the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the Regional Directorate for Youth in the Fez-Meknes region and the Higher Institute of Nursing Professions and Health Techniques in Fez. This agreement aims to establish a general framework and partnership rules between the two parties at the Fez-Meknes regional level, building upon their respective leading roles in serving youth and society.

This partnership is based on several key pillars, including:

  • Collaboration in developing and improving the level of basic and continuous training and scientific research in areas of mutual interest.
  • Organizing joint awareness campaigns in the health, social, environmental, and cultural fields, with the aim of promoting awareness among young people and contributing to sustainable development.
  • Facilitating cultural, social, recreational, and communication programs, as well as seasonal and annual activities targeting the institute’s professors and students, with the goal of enhancing extracurricular activities and developing the creative and social aspects of young people.

This partnership reflects the commitment of both parties to strengthen joint cooperation in serving youth, developing their capacities, and providing them with suitable opportunities for active engagement in various fields.
