Fez, Morocco – April 22, 2025 – Oliveseed Foundation, in partnership with the Regional Academy of Education and Training for the Fez-Meknes region, is pleased to announce the organization of the Second National Forum for Student Story Writers in English, which will take place on April 26th and 27th, 2025, in the city of Fez.

This national literary event is a continuation of the success of the first edition, bringing together talented students, teachers, writers, and educational and civil figures from across the Kingdom in a celebration of words, creative expression, and youth empowerment. The forum aims to promote a culture of creative writing among Moroccan students, highlight emerging voices, and consolidate the values of citizenship and cultural exchange.

Organized under the theme: “Empowering Communities: The Spirit of Civic Responsibility,” this edition invites participants to explore the power of words in bringing about positive change. The program includes story readings, writing workshops, dialogue seminars, storytelling performances, and the launch of the third part of the students’ anthology.

Among the distinguished guests is Alice Morrison, the renowned British author and explorer, who will share stories of her travels across the Moroccan Sahara. Experts from Cambridge University and partner educational institutions will also participate in sessions on writing, publishing, and the role of storytelling in education.

The winning stories of the 2025 National Story Competition will also be showcased during the forum, providing students with a platform to express their perceptions of concepts such as community, identity, and global citizenship.

Oliveseed invites journalists, educators, and those interested in educational and cultural affairs to attend this special event to celebrate the voices of the next generation of Moroccan writers.
