The Fez Court of Appeal has sentenced a gang of more than 12 people to 10 years in prison after they were found to be involved in attacks on tourist camps near the Mata Dam in the Sefrou region.
Sources told Fès News that the National Judicial Police Squad, under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, was able to dismantle the threads of this dangerous gang after thorough investigations.
The investigations indicated that the gang members carried out their operations in an organized manner, causing terror among tourists and citizens.
Residents of the area expressed their satisfaction with the verdict, praising the efforts of the security and judicial authorities in tackling crime and ensuring safety in the tourist area.
