Fès Municipality Announces New Procedures for Temporary Public Property Use Permits

The Fès Municipal Council has announced updated procedures for obtaining permits to temporarily use public communal property without construction. This comes as part of an effort to better regulate and manage public spaces in the city.

According to an official statement issued by the Council President, a new regulatory decision (Decision No. 01/2025) has been prepared to define the terms and conditions for the temporary occupation of public property without any permanent building.

This decision will be published after its approval during the ordinary session of the Municipal Council, scheduled for February 2025, and following validation by the relevant authorities.

The municipality has invited all interested parties and stakeholders to submit their requests for temporary public space use permits through the national digital platform www.rokhas.ma.

This initiative aims to streamline administrative procedures, provide a clear legal framework, and ensure fair and transparent access to public spaces in line with the city’s broader vision for urban improvement and service quality enhancement.
