Members of the Al-Mohammadiya Association for Charity and Benevolence Complain of “Management Violations” and Demand a New General Assembly

Four members of the Al-Mohammadiya Association for Charity and Benevolence in Fez submitted a complaint to the Mr. Pasha of the Oulad Tayeb leadership on April 21, 2025, expressing their dissatisfaction with the way the association is being run and managed.

According to the complaint signed by the concerned parties (the newspaper has a digital copy), the association has been suffering from several management irregularities since the resignation and replacement of the treasurer.

The signatories explained that the association’s president is making individual and unilateral decisions without consulting the other members of the executive committee. This has led to disputes and hindered the general and legal functioning of the association, especially considering its oversight of a sensitive sector related to student transportation and a female student residence.

The members who signed the complaint demanded urgent intervention to put an end to these violations, calling for the president to be compelled to hold a new general assembly to elect new individuals capable of managing the association in a transparent and fair manner.

This complaint comes in the context of the members’ keenness to ensure the proper functioning of the association and the achievement of its social and charitable goals in sound and legal conditions.
