According to exclusive sources from Fès News, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie in Bensouda, under the Moulay Yacoub province, managed this morning to arrest a second suspect involved in a dangerous criminal gang believed to have carried out a series of robberies targeting homes, cafés, and vehicles in the Ain Chkef and Oulad Tayeb districts.
This arrest comes as part of ongoing investigations and intensive fieldwork led by the gendarmerie, under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor. Previously, the same authorities had arrested the main suspect after identifying and tracking him, leading to his detention at Ras El Ma prison pending the continuation of the investigation.
Security services are still actively searching for a third suspect, who remains at large, amid a continued field mobilization by the Royal Gendarmerie aimed at fully dismantling this criminal network.
The operation has brought relief and reassurance to local residents, who had expressed concern over the rise in theft and violent crime allegedly committed by this gang, which has been labeled “dangerous” due to the nature and scale of its criminal activities.
