On Wednesday, February 19, police officers at the Security Directorate of Agadir arrested four people suspected of involvement in a case related to stone-throwing, which led to the injury of a woman, material damage to private property and vandalism of objects intended for public use.
The details of the incident date back to a riot in which supporters of a local football team caused damage to the protective glass of an urban transport bus by throwing stones, which resulted in the injury of a female passenger.
The police authorities in Agadir launched a judicial investigation immediately after the incident. The investigations and research carried out led to the identification of those involved in these criminal acts, before field interventions led to the arrest of four of them.
The suspects were subjected to judicial investigation, which is being conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, in order to determine all the circumstances and backgrounds surrounding this case, as well as the arrest of other potential perpetrators of these acts.
