On Monday evening, February 17, police officers at the Tiflet Regional Security Office arrested three people suspected of involvement in a case related to the trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances, based on accurate information obtained by the General Directorate of Surveillance of the National Territory (DST).
The operation was carried out in full coordination with the Royal Gendarmerie in Sidi Allal El Bahraoui, where the police managed to arrest the first suspect in flagrante delicto for the possession and trafficking of drugs. He was found in possession of 1410 narcotic medicinal tablets.
Ongoing investigations also led to the identification of two other individuals suspected of participating in these criminal activities, who were also arrested and seized two motorcycles and a sum of money suspected of being the proceeds of these acts.
The suspects were subjected to judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, with the aim of uncovering all the circumstances of this case and identifying the possible extensions of the criminal activity.
