Rabat – Le Conseil de l’Association des barreaux du Maroc a décidé, lors d’une session extraordinaire tenue à Rabat, de poursuivre la suspension des services professionnels, confirmant ainsi la continuité du mouvement de protestation lié au texte juridique régissant la profession d’avocat.
La décision intervient après des réunions et discussions qui se sont poursuivies tout au long de la journée, suivies d’une réunion nocturne du bureau de l’Association. Le communiqué annoncé n’a toutefois pas précisé la durée de la prolongation ni les modalités de mise en œuvre de cette nouvelle phase du mouvement. The decision followed meetings and discussions that continued throughout the day, followed by a nighttime meeting of the Association’s bureau. However, the statement issued did not specify the duration of the extension or the details of how the new phase of the protest would be implemented. The development comes amid an ongoing professional protest that began on June 15, in response to the law regulating the legal profession, which entered into force following its publication in the Official Gazette.
