Rabat– La Coalition marocaine des organisations des droits humains a annoncé sa participation au rassemblement de solidarité appelé par l’Association des Barreaux du Maroc, prévu lundi matin devant le siège du Parlement à Rabat, dans le cadre des mobilisations liées à la position de l’Association concernant le projet de loi n° 23.66.
Cette annonce a été faite dans une invitation adressée par le coordinateur de la Coalition, Abdelilah Benabdeslam, aux membres du secrétariat exécutif, les invitant à rejoindre le sit-in prévu à 10h30, au sein d’une délégation représentant la Coalition, afin de soutenir la position de l’Association des Barreaux du Maroc.
Dans cette invitation, la Coalition précise que cette participation s’inscrit dans un esprit de solidarité avec l’Association dans ce qu’elle considère comme une défense des droits et des libertés, tout en exprimant son soutien aux revendications appelant au retrait du projet de loi en question.
Cette évolution intervient alors que le débat public autour du projet de loi n° 23.66 se poursuit, suscitant des réactions et des positions divergentes parmi plusieurs organisations professionnelles, associations de défense des droits humains et autres acteurs concernés, dans l’attente de la poursuite de son examen au sein des institutions compétentes.
Le rassemblement devrait réunir plusieurs acteurs professionnels et défenseurs des droits humains afin d’exprimer leurs positions sur ce projet, dans le respect des formes de manifestation pacifique prévues par la loi.

Moroccan Coalition of Human Rights Organizations Announces Participation in Solidarity Rally with the Association of Moroccan Bar Associations
Rabat– The Moroccan Coalition of Human Rights Organizations has announced that it will participate in the solidarity rally called by the Association of Moroccan Bar Associations, scheduled for Monday morning in front of the Parliament building in Rabat, as part of the mobilization surrounding the Association’s position on Draft Law No. 23.66.
The announcement was made through an invitation issued by the Coalition’s coordinator, Abdelilah Benabdeslam, to members of its Executive Secretariat, calling on them to join the sit-in scheduled for 10:30 a.m. as part of a delegation representing the Coalition, in support of the Association of Moroccan Bar Associations.
According to the invitation, the Coalition stated that its participation reflects solidarity with the Association in what it considers a defense of rights and freedoms, while expressing support for the demands calling for the withdrawal of the proposed law.
This development comes as public debate over Draft Law No. 23.66 continues, generating differing views among professional bodies, human rights organizations, and other stakeholders, while the bill continues its legislative process before the competent institutions.
The rally is expected to bring together a number of legal professionals, human rights advocates, and civil society representatives to express their views on the proposed legislation through peaceful means guaranteed by law.
