Salé – November 2, 2025 – The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) announced the opening of a judicial investigation by the judicial police in the Sala Al Jadida security zone under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office, on the afternoon of Sunday, November 2, 2025, to determine the circumstances, details, and motives behind a police inspector committing murder using his service weapon outside the scope of his official duties.
According to an official statement issued by the Directorate, security services initiated procedures to examine the body at the suspect police officer’s residence, where a woman who was with him was found bearing traces of a gunshot from a service pistol. The motives and full circumstances of this tragic incident are currently being determined, with focus on investigating the conditions that led to its occurrence inside the suspect’s personal residence.
