Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, addressed five unified oral questions at the House of Representatives on Monday, November 2, 2026, regarding the development and upgrading of industrial zones across the Kingdom and equitable access to industrial land for investors.
Expanding Regional Industrial Parks and Combating Land Speculation
Speaking before Members of Parliament, Minister Mezzour detailed the government’s program to develop sustainable industrial zones across all twelve regions of Morocco in partnership with Regional Councils and the Sustainable Industrial Zones Fund (FONZID), while enforcing strict anti-speculation clauses to ensure subsidized industrial plots are actively converted into productive factories and youth jobs.
