Rabat: In implementation of the lofty instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the1 Ministry of Interior has announced the commencement of the special census for military service for the year 2025, which will take place from April 25th to June 23rd, 2025.
In a statement today, Thursday, the Ministry clarified that the Central Committee for the Special Military Service Census, chaired by a chamber president of the Court of Cassation, held a meeting at its headquarters dedicated to establishing the criteria to be adopted for extracting the names of young people called upon to complete the census form for military service for the upcoming cohort, scheduled for integration in September 2025.
During the meeting, the committee determined the specific criteria for extracting the required number of names of young individuals who may be called upon to complete the census form for military service, based on the database for the military service census prepared by the Ministry of Interior.
The statement indicated that, in light of these criteria, the process of compiling the lists of targeted young people and categorizing them according to prefectures, provinces, and arrondissement prefectures within their territorial jurisdiction will commence. The services of the prefectures, provinces, and arrondissement prefectures across the Kingdom will undertake the printing of census notices and their delivery to the concerned individuals.
In this context, the Minister of Interior called upon young people who receive census notices to promptly complete their census form via the dedicated website for the military service census process: www.tajnid.ma.
This step comes within the framework of the implementation of the high royal directives concerning the necessary measures for the integration of the next cohort of conscripts into military service in September 2025, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening the values of citizenship among young people and integrating them into the comprehensive development process.
