Maghreb Athletic Club of Fez (MAS) has announced the appointment of former Moroccan international Badr El Kadouri as the club’s new sporting director, in a move aimed at strengthening the team’s administrative staff.
El Kadouri brings a rich professional career in sports management, having previously worked at the Royal Moroccan Football Federation as a youth categories coordinator. He also served as sporting director at Wydad Athletic Club, where he contributed to the team’s success in winning the national championship and the CAF Champions League.
Prior to joining Maghreb Fez, El Kadouri gained professional experience in Qatar as an assistant coach before deciding to return to Morocco to continue his career in sports management.
This appointment comes as part of MAS’s strategy to strengthen its staff with national competencies capable of contributing to building a strong team that meets the aspirations of the “MAS” fans.
El Kadouri is expected to contribute his extensive experience to develop the administrative and sporting system of the Fez club, drawing on his previous experiences in various sports institutions where he has worked.
The club’s management expressed confidence in El Kadouri’s ability to add value to the team’s administrative structure and help achieve its strategic objectives, given his diverse background in football management and development.
