A serious traffic accident occurred today, Monday, on the road linking the cities of Sefrou and Fez, when a utility vehicle crashed into a billboard, resulting in multiple injuries of varying severity among the passengers.
According to local sources, the car was carrying a group of young men and women who were reportedly heavily intoxicated. They were rushed to Hassan II Hospital in Fez for urgent medical treatment.
Upon receiving the alert, security and local authorities quickly arrived at the scene to carry out the necessary procedures. Preliminary investigations revealed the presence of large bladed weapons and bottles of alcohol inside the vehicle.
The same sources reported that a highway toll ticket found in the car indicated the journey had started from the city of Taza at around 2:00 PM.
