Rabat – April 23, 2025 – Here are the weather forecasts issued by the Directorate General of Meteorology for Thursday, April 24, 2025:
Rain and Thunderstorm Forecasts:
- Thundery showers with a risk of hail in places are expected over the Atlas regions, the Southeast, the Phosphates and Oulmès plateaus, the central interior plains, the Saiss, the Rif, and the Mediterranean coast.
- Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible over the northern interior plains, the northeast of the Saharan provinces, and the Oriental region, potentially extending locally to the northern and central Atlantic plains.
Temperatures:
- Relatively hot weather is expected over the northern and central interior plains, the extreme Southeast, and the interior of the southern provinces.
Other Weather Phenomena:
- Mist formations are expected over the northern and central Atlantic plains, particularly in the morning.
- Fairly strong wind gusts will affect the Tangier region, the Oriental, the Atlas, the Tadla and Saiss plains, the Southeast, as well as the southern provinces.
- Local dust storms are possible over the south of the Oriental region and the Saharan regions.
Sea Conditions:
- The sea will be slight to calm in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, and slight to rough elsewhere.
