On Thursday, the Tangier Security Governorate organized a symbolic reception for 291 children who benefited from summer camps in the city of Tangier. These children hail from the areas affected by the earthquake that hit the Al Hawz region on September 8, 2023, and were specially hosted to provide them with support and solidarity.
The reception included an educational tour of the various administrative facilities and technical and logistical equipment of the Tangier Security Directorate, where the children had the opportunity to learn about the nature of the work of the security services and benefit from detailed explanations provided by specialized staff in various police fields.
This visit reflects the General Directorate of National Security’s growing interest in social and communication initiatives, which aim to promote the concept of “citizen policing” in security work. This initiative also highlights the commitment of the police public facility to open up to its social environment, especially to support children from areas affected by natural disasters.
