On Thursday, 25 Shawwal 1446 AH, corresponding to April 24, 2025, a Government Council meeting was held under the chairmanship of Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government. The meeting was dedicated to discussing a number of draft legal texts, reviewing an international agreement, and deliberating proposals for appointments to senior positions, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.
In this context, the Government Council approved several new appointments to senior management positions, as follows:
At the level of the Head of Government’s Office:
- Mr. Khalid Cherkaoui was appointed Director of the Center for Skills Development, Legal Function, and Cooperation.
At the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports:
- Mr. Nabil Hanoudi was appointed Director of Public Affairs.
- Mr. Mohamed Boujamaa was appointed Dean of the Higher School for Educational Specializations.
- Mr. Abderrahman Zekraoui was appointed Director of Curricula.
At the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests:
- Mr. Hicham Essafrani was appointed Director of Agricultural Land Development.
These appointments are part of the government’s commitment to enhancing good governance and ensuring effective performance within public administration by selecting highly qualified national professionals for positions of responsibility.
