Crédit Agricole du Maroc Group Supports Innovation and AgriTech at SIAM 2025

Meknes – April 24, 2025 – On the occasion of the upcoming Salon International de l’Agriculture au Maroc (SIAM – International Agriculture Fair in Morocco), Crédit Agricole du Maroc Group is contributing to putting innovation at the service of a high-performing and profitable agriculture by presenting the first cohort of its “CAM INNOV’#2025 AgriTech” program.

Eight high-potential startups, rigorously selected for their significant impact across the entire agricultural value chain, presented their applications in the presence of Mr. Mohammed Fikrat, Chairman of the Executive Board of GCAM, and Mr. Rachid BENALI, President of COMADER (Moroccan Confederation for Agricultural Development).

A highlight of the day was the signing of tripartite Memoranda of Understanding between Crédit Agricole du Maroc, COMADER, and the selected startups. This agreement provides for the adaptation of the developed applications to the specific needs of partner farmers and support for their operationalization.

GCAM plans to regionalize this initiative, which perfectly illustrates its commitment to promoting innovation as a lever for the transformation of the Moroccan agricultural and financial sector. Crédit Agricole du Maroc Group thus reaffirms its role as a catalyst for sustainable innovations serving a high-performing and inclusive agriculture.
