Morocco’s General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts continued unstable weather conditions across several areas of the Fez–Meknes region on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, with unstable cloud formations and possible scattered rain showers, particularly over mountainous and northern parts of the region.

According to official forecasts, unstable clouds are expected over the Rif Mountains, the Middle Atlas, and the northern Oriental region, with occasionally cloudy skies over highlands and nearby areas. Moderate wind activity is also expected, especially in the Middle Atlas.

In the city of Fez, the weather is expected to remain mild, with sunny intervals and passing clouds, while Meknes will experience relatively stable conditions with moderate spring temperatures during the day.

In the provinces of Taza, Taounate, and Sefrou, relatively dense cloud cover is forecast during certain periods, with possible localized showers, especially near mountainous areas.

Meanwhile, the mountainous provinces of Ifrane and Boulemane are expected to remain cooler than the rest of the region, accompanied by active winds and continued light weather fluctuations.

The provinces of El Hajeb and Moulay Yacoub are also expected to enjoy relatively stable weather, with partly cloudy skies and moderate winds.

Meteorological data indicate a slight rise or overall stability in temperatures across various parts of the Kingdom, amid the continuing spring weather fluctuations typical of late April.

These moderate weather conditions are expected to support daily activities and travel across the region’s cities, particularly as the spring season continues to attract visitors to natural spaces and mountainous destinations throughout the Fez–Meknes region.
