Tetouan – A tragic murder crime took place in Wad Asla near Faj Al-Rih in the Ibghagza commune of Tetouan province on Saturday afternoon, July 13th, claiming the lives of five members of a single family.
According to local sources, the father of the family, locally known as “Weld Ben Shama,” brutally killed his wife and four children before fleeing to an unknown destination.
The same sources reported that the perpetrator had been suffering from mental disorders and had previously threatened to commit such a criminal act on several occasions.
This tragic incident has left the local residents in a state of shock and terror, expressing their strong condemnation of this heinous crime.
Upon receiving the report, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie immediately moved to the crime scene, where they began procedures for inspection and evidence collection. The competent public prosecutor’s office has ordered a comprehensive investigation to uncover the circumstances of this horrific crime and determine its motives.
