The Government Council, headed by Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, met yesterday, Thursday, June 6, 2024, to study a number of important files.
The most important points discussed:
Preparing for Eid al-Adha: The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, Mr. Muhammad Seddiqi, confirmed the availability of Eid al-Adha sacrifices at reasonable prices for citizens, after a careful assessment of supply expectations, which far exceeds demand. All measures have also been taken to ensure the health of the national herd.
Postponing the draft law regulating the display of marine fishing products: A decision on draft law No. 35.23 relating to the display of marine fishing products for the first time in the market has been postponed to a later government meeting, in order to further its study.
Approval of the draft decree organizing the Ministry of Justice: Draft Decree No. 2.24.371 aims to ensure the continuity of the training system for the benefit of the clerks’ clerks and other employees affiliated with the Ministry of Justice, as well as those affiliated with the legal and judicial professions, with the aim of raising the level of their competencies and developing their capabilities.
Approval of the draft decree defining the procedure for removing land plots from the water public domain: Draft Decree No. 2.23.400 aims to determine the procedure for removing land parcels from the water public domain that have lost the character of public benefit, as well as annexing the latter to the water public domain.
The Government Council meeting dealt with many important files, which aim to ensure the smooth functioning of public facilities, provide citizens’ basic needs, and promote continuous training in various fields.
