Rabat – Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI a donné Ses Hautes Instructions pour la remise du Complexe Mohammed VI de formation professionnelle dans les métiers du bâtiment et des travaux publics, de l’hôtellerie, du tourisme et de la restauration aux autorités de la République du Mali, dans le cadre du renforcement de la coopération maroco-africaine et du soutien au développement des compétences humaines sur le continent.
Situé à Bamako, le complexe s’étend sur une superficie couverte de 5 200 mètres carrés. Il a été réalisé par la Fondation Mohammed VI pour le Développement Durable afin d’offrir une formation professionnelle répondant aux besoins du marché de l’emploi, en mettant l’accent sur l’acquisition de compétences pratiques, la combinaison de l’enseignement théorique et de la formation sur le terrain, ainsi que le renforcement de l’insertion professionnelle des jeunes.
Cet établissement de formation devrait accueillir environ 1 000 stagiaires par an, répartis dans 21 filières de formation, dont 12 consacrées aux métiers du bâtiment et des travaux publics, et 9 relevant des secteurs du tourisme, de l’hôtellerie et de la restauration.
Lors de la visite du complexe, le ministre des Affaires étrangères, de la Coopération africaine et des Marocains résidant à l’étranger, Nasser Bourita, a souligné que cette initiative royale traduit l’attention particulière que Sa Majesté le Roi porte à la jeunesse malienne et africaine. Elle s’inscrit dans la vision royale visant à consolider une coopération Sud-Sud fondée sur la solidarité, le partage des expertises, le renforcement des capacités locales et la promotion d’un développement humain durable.
Pour sa part, la ministre de l’Entrepreneuriat national, de l’Emploi et de la Formation professionnelle de la République du Mali, Oumou Sall Seck, a exprimé sa gratitude et ses remerciements à Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI. Elle a affirmé que cette initiative reflète la profondeur des liens de fraternité et de solidarité entre le Royaume du Maroc et la République du Mali, tout en répondant à un besoin stratégique du Mali en matière de qualification des ressources humaines et de développement des compétences dans des secteurs clés soutenant le développement économique et social.

Rabat – His Majesty King Mohammed VI has issued High Royal Instructions for the handover of the Mohammed VI Vocational Training Complex, specializing in construction and public works, hospitality, tourism, and catering, to the authorities of the Republic of Mali. The initiative forms part of efforts to strengthen Morocco–Africa cooperation and support the development of human skills across the continent.

Located in Bamako, the complex covers a built-up area of 5,200 square meters. It was developed by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Sustainable Development with the aim of providing vocational training that meets labor market needs by focusing on practical skills acquisition, combining theoretical education with hands-on training, and enhancing young people’s professional integration.
The training facility is expected to accommodate around 1,000 trainees each year across 21 training programs, including 12 programs in construction and public works and 9 programs in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and catering.
During a visit to the complex, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, stated that this Royal Initiative reflects the special attention His Majesty the King gives to Malian and African youth. He noted that it is part of the King’s vision to strengthen South-South cooperation based on solidarity, the exchange of expertise, the enhancement of local capacities, and the promotion of sustainable human development.
For her part, Mali’s Minister of National Entrepreneurship, Employment and Vocational Training, Oumou Sall Seck, expressed her gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Mohammed VI. She emphasized that the initiative reflects the deep bonds of brotherhood and solidarity between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Mali, while addressing Mali’s strategic need to develop human resources and strengthen skills in key sectors that support economic and social development.
