Maroc – Les autorités compétentes de la ville de Fnideq ont récemment interpellé un ressortissant algérien qui tentait de rejoindre la ville occupée de Ceuta en se déguisant en femme, dans le but de dissimuler son identité et d’échapper aux contrôles de sécurité.
Selon des informations concordantes, le comportement du suspect et sa manière de se déplacer ont éveillé les soupçons des agents de sécurité, qui ont procédé à un contrôle d’identité approfondi. Les vérifications ont révélé qu’il s’agissait d’un homme de nationalité algérienne portant un niqab et des vêtements féminins afin de masquer son apparence.
L’intéressé a été remis aux services de sécurité compétents, qui ont ouvert une enquête sous la supervision du parquet afin de déterminer les circonstances de cette tentative, la destination qu’il cherchait à atteindre, ainsi que l’éventuelle implication de réseaux organisant l’immigration irrégulière.
Le suspect devrait être présenté à la justice à l’issue de l’enquête, conformément aux procédures légales en vigueur.
Cette intervention s’inscrit dans le cadre du renforcement des contrôles de sécurité à Fnideq, où les autorités font régulièrement face à des tentatives d’immigration irrégulière vers la ville occupée de Ceuta, qu’elles soient individuelles ou organisées, dans le cadre des efforts visant à lutter contre ce phénomène et à sécuriser les postes-frontières.
Algerian National Arrested at Bab Sebta Crossing After Attempting to Cross Disguised as a Woman
Morocco – Authorities in the city of Fnideq recently arrested an Algerian national after he allegedly attempted to enter the occupied city of Ceuta disguised as a woman in an effort to conceal his identity and evade security checks.
According to consistent reports, security officers became suspicious because of the individual’s behavior and manner of movement. They carried out an identity check, which revealed that the suspect was a male Algerian citizen wearing a niqab and women’s clothing to hide his appearance.
The suspect was referred to the competent security services, which opened an investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor to determine the full circumstances surrounding the attempted crossing, identify his intended destination, and establish whether he had any links to networks involved in organizing irregular migration.
He is expected to be brought before the courts once the investigation has been completed, in accordance with the applicable legal procedures.
The operation comes as Moroccan authorities continue to tighten security measures in Fnideq, where irregular migration attempts toward the occupied city of Ceuta—whether carried out individually or by organized groups—continue to occur. The measures form part of ongoing efforts to combat irregular migration and strengthen security at border crossings.
