Maroc – Un fonctionnaire de police relevant de la préfecture de sécurité d’Azrou a été contraint, dans les premières heures de la matinée du lundi 8 juin 2026, d’utiliser son arme de service lors d’une intervention visant à interpeller un individu âgé de 32 ans, en état d’ébriété, qui avait gravement menacé des éléments de police en brandissant une arme blanche et en incitant un chien de race dangereuse.
Selon une source sécuritaire, le suspect, qui était accompagné d’un chien dangereux, a attaqué le policier chargé de la garde à la porte du commissariat d’Azrou à l’aide de l’animal, ce qui a nécessité une intervention immédiate pour neutraliser la menace.
La même source ajoute que le policier a été contraint de faire usage de son arme de service, en tirant des coups de feu qui ont touché le chien attaquant, permettant ainsi de neutraliser le danger et de sécuriser les lieux, avant l’interpellation du suspect.
L’opération a également permis la saisie d’une arme blanche et d’un objet contondant en possession de l’individu.
Le suspect a été placé en garde à vue sous la supervision du parquet compétent, dans le cadre de l’enquête judiciaire en cours, afin de déterminer toutes les circonstances et les motivations de ces actes criminels.

Morocco – A police officer working at the regional security district in Azrou was forced in the early hours of Monday, June 8, 2026, to use his service weapon during a security intervention aimed at arresting a 32-year-old man who was in a state of intoxication and posed a serious threat to police officers by brandishing a bladed weapon and inciting a dangerous dog.
According to a security source, the suspect, who was accompanied by a dangerous dog, attacked the police officer stationed at the entrance of the Azrou police station using the animal, which required immediate intervention to neutralize the threat.
The same source added that the police officer was forced to discharge his service weapon, hitting the attacking dog and thereby neutralizing the danger and securing the area, before the suspect was arrested.
The operation also led to the seizure of a bladed weapon and a blunt object in the possession of the suspect.
The suspect was placed in police custody under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, as part of an ongoing judicial investigation aimed at determining all the circumstances and motives behind these criminal acts.
