Rabat – Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI, que Dieu L’assiste, Président du Conseil supérieur du pouvoir judiciaire, a reçu hier jeudi 18 Dou Al-Hijja 1447 de l’Hégire, correspondant au 4 juin 2026, au Palais Royal de Rabat, les membres du Conseil que le Souverain a bien voulu nommer conformément aux dispositions de la Constitution et de la loi organique relative au Conseil supérieur du pouvoir judiciaire.
Selon un communiqué du Cabinet Royal, Sa Majesté le Roi a renouvelé la nomination de M. Mohamed Abdelnabaoui pour un second mandat en sa qualité de Premier président de la Cour de cassation et, par conséquent, de Président délégué du Conseil supérieur du pouvoir judiciaire. Le Souverain a également nommé Mme Latifa El Harraji et M. Nader El Moumni en tant que nouveaux membres du Conseil.
Sa Majesté a également nommé M. Farid El Bacha et renouvelé la nomination de MM. Mohamed Zouak et Mohamed Nacer pour un second mandat parmi les personnalités dont la désignation au Conseil supérieur du pouvoir judiciaire relève des prérogatives royales prévues par la Constitution.
Au cours de cette audience, les deux nouveaux membres du Conseil ont prêté serment devant Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI, conformément au communiqué du Cabinet Royal.
Le Conseil supérieur du pouvoir judiciaire est une institution constitutionnelle chargée de veiller à l’indépendance du pouvoir judiciaire et à l’application des garanties accordées aux magistrats, dans le cadre du renforcement de l’État de droit et de la consolidation des principes de justice au Royaume.
Rabat – His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, President of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power, received on Thursday, June 4, 2026, corresponding to 18 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, the members whom His Majesty appointed to the Council in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the Organic Law governing the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power.
According to a statement issued by the Royal Cabinet, His Majesty renewed the appointment of Mohamed Abdelnabaoui for a second term as First President of the Court of Cassation and, consequently, as Delegate President of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power. The King also appointed Latifa El Harraji and Nader El Moumni as new members of the Council.
His Majesty further appointed Farid El Bacha and renewed the appointments of Mohamed Zouak and Mohamed Nacer for a second term among the personalities whose appointment to the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power falls under the King’s constitutional prerogatives.
During the audience, the two newly appointed members took the oath before His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in accordance with the statement issued by the Royal Cabinet.
The Supreme Council of the Judicial Power is a constitutional institution responsible for safeguarding the independence of the judiciary and ensuring the guarantees granted to judges, as part of strengthening the rule of law and consolidating the principles of justice in the Kingdom.
