Rabat – La commission centrale du recensement relatif au service militaire a tenu, mercredi au siège du ministère de l’Intérieur, une réunion consacrée à la définition des critères retenus pour sélectionner les noms des jeunes, hommes et femmes, concernés par l’accomplissement du service militaire au sein du contingent qui rejoindra les rangs à partir du 1er septembre 2026.
Rabat – The Central Census Commission for military service held a meeting on Wednesday at the Ministry of Interior headquarters dedicated to defining the criteria for selecting the names of young men and women concerned by military service within the contingent set to join starting September 1, 2026.

Cette réunion intervient, selon un communiqué du ministère de l’Intérieur, en application des Hautes Instructions de Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI, Chef suprême et Chef d’État-Major Général des Forces Armées Royales, concernant les mesures organisationnelles liées à l’intégration du prochain contingent de recrues.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, this meeting comes in implementation of the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, regarding organizational measures related to integrating the next contingent of recruits.

Les travaux de la commission ont été présidés par un magistrat président de chambre à la Cour de cassation, en présence de représentants des départements gouvernementaux, des services militaires et sécuritaires, ainsi que d’institutions et organismes concernés par le suivi de ce chantier national.
The commission’s work was chaired by a chamber president at the Court of Cassation, in the presence of representatives from government departments, military and security services, as well as institutions and bodies concerned with monitoring this national initiative.

Le communiqué précise que la commission a adopté plusieurs critères techniques et organisationnels sur lesquels reposera l’élaboration des listes des jeunes appelés à effectuer le service militaire, tout en prenant en considération les classifications et besoins définis par les autorités militaires compétentes.
The statement explained that the commission adopted several technical and organizational criteria that will serve as the basis for preparing the lists of young people called to perform military service, while taking into account the classifications and needs defined by the competent military authorities.

La même source ajoute que les listes prévues seront transmises aux autorités militaires concernées afin d’entamer la procédure de convocation des recrues et de finaliser les dispositions liées à leur intégration à la date prévue.
The same source added that the planned lists will be forwarded to the relevant military authorities to begin the process of summoning recruits and completing arrangements related to their integration on the scheduled date.
