Les services de sécurité de Rabat ont interpellé un total de 136 personnes, dont deux mineurs, à la suite des actes de violence et de hooliganisme ayant marqué le match entre l’AS FAR et le Raja Club Athletic, disputé jeudi soir au Complexe Prince Moulay Abdellah dans le cadre de la 17e journée du championnat professionnel.
Security services in Rabat arrested a total of 136 individuals, including two minors, following acts of violence and hooliganism that occurred during the match between AS FAR and Raja Club Athletic on Thursday evening at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium as part of the 17th round of the professional league.

Selon des éléments liés à l’enquête, de violents affrontements ont éclaté entre des groupes de supporters dans certaines tribunes du stade, sans toutefois provoquer l’interruption du match, qui s’est soldé par une victoire de l’AS FAR sur le score de deux buts à un.
According to investigation-related information, violent clashes broke out between groups of supporters in certain sections of the stadium stands, although the incidents did not lead to the suspension of the match, which ended with a 2–1 victory for AS FAR.

Les personnes arrêtées ont été placées en garde à vue pour leur implication présumée dans les actes de violence et de vandalisme ayant accompagné cette rencontre, dans l’attente de la poursuite de l’enquête menée sous la supervision du parquet compétent.
The arrested individuals were placed in police custody on suspicion of involvement in the acts of violence and vandalism surrounding the match, pending the continuation of investigations conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office.

Les vidéos largement diffusées sur les réseaux sociaux ont provoqué une vague d’indignation, notamment après la publication de séquences montrant des scènes de violence et de chaos dans les tribunes, dans un contexte marqué par des avertissements concernant la montée des discours d’incitation relayés par certaines pages et groupes numériques avant les grands matchs.
Videos widely shared on social media sparked widespread outrage, especially after footage showing scenes of violence and chaos inside the stands circulated online, amid warnings over the growing spread of inflammatory rhetoric promoted by certain online pages and groups before major matches.

Malgré le développement des infrastructures sportives au Maroc et les résultats positifs obtenus par le football national sur les scènes continentale et internationale, le phénomène du hooliganisme dans les stades continue de poser des défis persistants, avec la répétition d’affrontements entre certaines factions de supporters à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur des enceintes sportives.
Despite the development of sports infrastructure in Morocco and the positive results achieved by national football on continental and international levels, stadium hooliganism continues to pose ongoing challenges, with repeated clashes between certain supporter groups inside and outside stadiums.
