In a move reflecting the consistency of Moroccan diplomacy and the clarity of its regional positions, King Mohammed VI held a series of phone conversations on Saturday with several Gulf leaders, reaffirming the Kingdom of Morocco’s firm support for the unity, sovereignty, and security of these nations.
The calls included Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates; Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain; Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia; and Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar.
During these conversations, the King reiterated Morocco’s strong condemnation of the attacks targeting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of these sisterly nations, expressing full solidarity and support for all legitimate measures they deem appropriate to safeguard their security, stability, and the well-being of their citizens.
The King further stressed that, based on the deep fraternal ties and enduring solidarity binding Morocco to the Gulf states, the security and stability of these countries are an integral part of Morocco’s own security and stability. Any infringement upon their sovereignty or territorial integrity, he emphasized, constitutes a serious and unacceptable act and a direct threat to regional stability.
These calls underscore the depth of the strategic relations linking Morocco with the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and reaffirm Rabat’s steadfast commitment to supporting stability, respecting state sovereignty, and strengthening Arab solidarity in the face of regional challenges.
Mohammed VI s’entretient par téléphone avec des dirigeants du Golfe et réaffirme la solidarité totale du Maroc
Dans une démarche illustrant la constance de la diplomatie marocaine et la clarté de ses positions sur les questions régionales, Mohammed VI a tenu, samedi, une série d’entretiens téléphoniques avec plusieurs dirigeants des pays du Golfe, réaffirmant le soutien ferme du Royaume du Maroc à l’unité, à la souveraineté et à la sécurité de ces États.
Ces échanges ont concerné Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Président des Émirats arabes unis ; Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Roi de Bahreïn ; Mohammed bin Salman, Prince héritier et Chef du gouvernement d’Arabie saoudite ; ainsi que Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Émir du Qatar.
Au cours de ces entretiens, le Souverain a renouvelé la ferme condamnation du Royaume du Maroc des attaques visant la souveraineté et l’intégrité territoriale de ces pays frères, exprimant la solidarité pleine et entière du Maroc et son soutien à toutes les mesures légitimes qu’ils jugent appropriées pour préserver leur sécurité, leur stabilité et la quiétude de leurs citoyens.
Le Roi a également souligné que, en raison des liens fraternels profonds et de la solidarité constante unissant le Maroc aux pays du Golfe, la sécurité et la stabilité de ces États constituent une partie intégrante de la sécurité et de la stabilité du Royaume. Toute atteinte à leur souveraineté ou à leur intégrité territoriale représente, a-t-il insisté, un acte grave et inacceptable, ainsi qu’une menace directe pour la stabilité régionale.
Ces entretiens mettent en lumière la solidité des relations stratégiques entre le Maroc et les pays du Conseil de coopération du Golfe, et réaffirment l’attachement de Rabat au soutien de la stabilité, au respect de la souveraineté des États et au renforcement de la solidarité arabe face aux défis régionaux.
