According to converging information, residents submitted a petition to the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, accompanied by nearly 300 signatures from citizens, urging the acceleration of restoration works and the reopening of this religious and historical landmark as soon as possible.

La Grande Mosquée est l’un des principaux monuments religieux de Taza El Oulia et est qualifiée par les habitants de « cœur battant » de la région.
