Morocco – The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced this Wednesday evening that the first day of the holy month of Ramadan in Morocco for the year 1447 AH will be tomorrow, Thursday, February 19, 2026.
Maroc – Le ministère des Habous et des Affaires islamiques a annoncé, ce mercredi soir, que le premier jour du mois sacré de Ramadan au Maroc pour l’année 1447 H sera demain, jeudi 19 février 2026.

In an official statement, the ministry informed citizens that it observed the crescent moon of Ramadan 1447 AH after sunset on Wednesday, 29 Shaaban 1447 AH, corresponding to February 18, 2026. It added that it contacted all regional delegates of Islamic affairs across the Kingdom, as well as Royal Armed Forces units participating in the moon sighting process, who unanimously confirmed the sighting. Accordingly, the first day of Ramadan will be Thursday, February 19, 2026.
Dans un communiqué officiel, le ministère a informé les citoyens qu’il a procédé à l’observation du croissant lunaire annonçant le mois de Ramadan 1447 H après le coucher du soleil ce mercredi 29 Chaabane 1447 H, correspondant au 18 février 2026. Il a ajouté avoir pris contact avec l’ensemble des délégués des affaires islamiques du Royaume ainsi qu’avec les unités des Forces armées royales participant à l’observation du croissant, qui ont tous confirmé sa vision. Par conséquent, le premier jour du Ramadan sera le jeudi 19 février 2026.
