À la suite de la diffusion d’une information qualifiée de mensongère par un site électronique et certaines pages sur les réseaux sociaux, au sujet de l’affaire pendante devant la justice connue médiatiquement sous l’appellation « Escobar du Sahara », Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid a publié un communiqué adressé à l’opinion publique, dans lequel il dément catégoriquement les accusations et allégations relayées.
