Abdellatif Hammouchi, directeur général de la sûreté nationale et de la surveillance du territoire, a effectué ce dimanche après-midi 18 janvier 2026 une visite de terrain au stade Prince Moulay Abdellah à Rabat, afin d’évaluer le niveau de préparation des protocoles sécuritaires avancés accompagnant l’organisation de la finale de la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations 2025, opposant la sélection nationale marocaine à son homologue sénégalaise.
Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, carried out an on-site visit on Sunday afternoon, January 18, 2026, to the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat to assess the readiness of the advanced security protocols accompanying the organization of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 final between Morocco and Senegal.
Selon les informations disponibles, la visite a inclus un examen minutieux des dispositifs de sécurité publique propres à cette rencontre, depuis la gestion des flux de supporters sur les axes routiers menant au complexe sportif, en passant par les zones des portails extérieurs comprenant les espaces de contrôle, de fouille et de filtrage, jusqu’à l’intérieur du stade, dans une approche visant à concilier rigueur sécuritaire, fluidité et rapidité d’accès.
According to available information, the visit included a thorough review of the public security arrangements for the match, covering crowd flow management on access roads, inspection, screening, and filtering areas at outer gates, and security organization inside the stadium—within an approach designed to balance strict security with smooth and rapid access.
Au cours de la visite, des briefings ont été présentés sur le niveau d’intégration atteint entre les ressources humaines et les technologies modernes au sein du security setup, notamment l’utilisation de systèmes de surveillance visuelle par caméras fixes et drones, ainsi que l’intégration d’applications d’intelligence artificielle pour la gestion du trafic et le renforcement de la détection proactive.
During the visit, briefings were delivered on the level of integration achieved between human resources and modern technologies within the security setup, notably the use of fixed surveillance cameras and drones, as well as the integration of artificial intelligence applications for traffic management and enhanced proactive detection.
Le directeur général a également pris connaissance du plan de sécurité et de sûreté prévu après la fin du match, tenant compte des différents scénarios liés au résultat de la rencontre, et visant à sécuriser les flux de supporters dans les espaces publics et sur la voie publique, tout en garantissant la protection des personnes, des biens et des infrastructures sportives.
The Director General also reviewed the post-match safety and security plan, which takes into account various scenarios linked to the match outcome and aims to secure supporter flows in public spaces and on roadways, while ensuring the protection of people, property, and sports facilities.
Cette visite a été l’occasion de saluer le haut niveau de professionnalisme démontré par les policiers et policières à l’échelle nationale, ainsi que par the different public security units, in the optimal implementation of the security and safety protocols for the Africa Cup of Nations “Morocco 2025,” reflecting the readiness of the Moroccan security model to support major sporting events and enhance the Kingdom’s continental and international standing.
The visit also served to commend the high level of professionalism shown by police officers nationwide, as well as by the various public security units, in the optimal implementation of security and safety protocols for the Africa Cup of Nations “Morocco 2025,” reflecting the readiness of the Moroccan security model to support major sporting events and strengthen the Kingdom’s continental and international profile.
