Meet the Refereeing Crew for the Morocco–Nigeria Showdown in the Africa Cup of Nations Semi-Final

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the appointment of Ghanaian referee Daniel Nii Ayitey Larbi to officiate the semi-final match between the Moroccan national team and its Nigerian counterpart, scheduled for Wednesday evening as part of the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.

CAF stated, via its official social media platforms, that Larbi will be assisted by South African referee Zakhele Tusi Granville Siwela, alongside Soro Fatswanni, while Rwanda’s Samuel Uwikunda has been appointed as the fourth official.

Regarding Video Assistant Referee (VAR) duties, CAF entrusted the role to South African official Abongile Tom, assisted by Tunisia’s Haitham Guirat and Kenya’s Stephen Onyango Yiembe.

This highly anticipated clash between Morocco national football team and Nigeria national football team will take place on Wednesday evening at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, kicking off at 9:00 p.m. It stands as one of the marquee fixtures of this continental edition, which runs through January 18.
