Rabat – The Ministry of Interior announced that the provisional amended lists of the general electoral rolls were deposited on Saturday, 10 January 2026, as part of the annual revision of the electoral rolls for 2026.
In an official statement, the Ministry explained that this process followed meetings held by the competent administrative committees, chaired by judges, between 5 and 9 January. During these meetings, the committees examined new registration requests and applications for transfer of registration, carried out legally required deletions, and corrected recorded clerical errors.
According to the same source, the provisional amended lists were deposited at local administrative authority offices, as well as at municipal and district service offices. Any concerned person may consult these lists during the period from 10 to 17 January, in accordance with the applicable legal procedures.
In the same context, the Ministry of Interior reminded registered citizens that they may verify their registration status or check their personal details by sending an SMS to the free number 2727, or by accessing the official website: www.listeselectorales.ma.
Professional Chambers’ Electoral Rolls
Separately, the Ministry informed professionals that the provisional amended lists of the electoral rolls for professional chambers for the year 2026 were also deposited on Saturday, 10 January 2026.
The statement clarified that the administrative committees responsible for reviewing the professional chambers’ rolls held their meetings during the same period, from 5 to 9 January, resulting in decisions on new registrations, transfers of registration, legal deletions, and data corrections.
These lists were deposited at local administrative authority offices corresponding to the electoral districts, in addition to the headquarters of the professional chambers. Concerned professionals may consult them during the period from 10 to 18 January.
The Ministry also called on professionals who are not yet registered on the professional chambers’ rolls, but who meet the legal requirements, to submit their registration applications within the same timeframe. Applications should be filed at the local administrative authority offices overseeing their places of professional activity.
The statement concluded that the administrative committees will examine these applications during special meetings scheduled between 10 and 14 February 2026, in order to take the necessary decisions in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
According to the Ministry of Interior, these measures form part of efforts to update and enhance the transparency of the general electoral rolls and the professional chambers’ rolls, safeguard the rights of citizens and professionals, and ensure better preparation for upcoming electoral processes.
