Sports – Following the completion of the quarterfinal matches of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, played on Saturday, 10 January 2026, Moroccan international Brahim Díaz continued to lead the tournament’s top scorers’ standings, reaffirming his strong presence in this continental edition.
Díaz raised his tally to five goals in five matches, thanks to his decisive strike against Cameroon, a feat that strengthened his position at the top of the scorers’ list and made him the leading favorite to claim the Golden Boot.
Meanwhile, two global stars remain in close pursuit of the Moroccan international in the goal-scoring race: Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah, each with four goals, after finding the net in the quarterfinals.
