Taza — Local stakeholders have raised questions regarding the situation of the Mental Health and Psychiatric Department at Ibn Baja Provincial Hospital in the city of Taza, amid what they described as “human resources constraints,” according to unconfirmed information circulated locally in recent days.
According to these stakeholders, the department is reportedly facing difficulties linked to the prolonged absence of the specialist physician assigned to it, in addition to delays in the arrival of two doctors who were expected—according to the same sources—to take up their duties at the beginning of the 2026 fiscal year. As of now, no official explanations have been issued regarding the reasons for this delay.
