The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts that Morocco will experience generally cold weather tomorrow, Sunday, with weather conditions characterized by partly cloudy skies in some areas. Below are the main forecast details, based on official data issued by the Directorate:
General Weather Conditions:
- Cold and Frost: Cold weather with the formation of heavy frost in the Middle and High Atlas mountains, the Rif, and the eastern high plateaus, especially during the night and early morning.
- Clouds and Rain: Partly cloudy skies in the Saharan provinces, with the possibility of light local rainfall in the northern and central regions, in addition to the Mediterranean coast and neighboring western areas.
- Wind: Somewhat strong wind gusts in the northern Saharan provinces, accompanied by local dust scattering.
Temperatures:
- Minimum:
- Between -04 and +04 degrees Celsius in the Atlas mountains, eastern high plateaus, and the Rif.
- Between +12 and +16 degrees in the Saharan provinces.
- Between +05 and +12 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.
- Daytime: Slight increase or stabilization in temperatures in most areas, with weather remaining relatively cold in mountainous regions.
Sea Conditions:
- Calm to slightly rough in the Strait.
- Slightly rough to rough along the Atlantic coast.
- Rough on the Mediterranean coast.
