Serious Admission by Polisario: Armed Group Involved in Attack and Kidnapping of Chinese Workers Amid Complete Absence of Algerian Army

In a serious and unprecedented development, the terrorist Polisario Front officially acknowledged the authenticity of a leaked document revealing the involvement of an armed group in an attack and kidnapping targeting Chinese workers in the Ghar Jbelat area, amid the total absence of the Algerian army.

The admission came after the leaked internal document detailed the attack, prompting the Polisario to attempt damage control by announcing the arrest of one suspect involved in the assault, without providing further information about the detainee’s identity or the circumstances of the incident.

This official acknowledgment highlights once again the fragile security situation in the Tindouf camps, where the Polisario exercises effective control, while the role of the Algerian state—supposedly the legitimate sovereign authority over the area—has significantly diminished.

The announcement reflects a clear violation of Algeria’s claimed sovereignty and serves as a serious warning to foreign investors, especially in light of the increasing violence and kidnappings in areas that are supposed to be under direct Algerian security supervision.

Additionally, the Polisario published a photo claiming the detention of one of the suspects involved in the attack on the Chinese workers in Ghar Jbelat, underscoring the ongoing absence of the Algerian army and state authorities in fulfilling their expected security roles.
