In an official statement issued by the Ministry of Royal Palaces, Protocol, and Honors, the program commemorating the 26th anniversary of His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s ascension to the throne of his glorious ancestors was announced.
The statement clarified that His Majesty will deliver a royal speech to the loyal Moroccan people on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, starting at 9:00 PM, broadcast live on radio waves and national television.
His Majesty will also preside over an official reception ceremony on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the square of the Al Hoceima-Fnideq Prefecture in the city of Al Hoceima.
On Thursday, July 31, 2025, His Majesty, the Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, will preside over the oath-taking ceremony. This ceremony, held at the Royal Palace’s Mashwar Square in Tetouan, will include newly graduated officers from various military, paramilitary, and civilian schools and institutes.
By royal order, the High Command of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces will hold a commemorative lunch banquet at the Royal Guard Club in Tetouan in honor of this occasion.
On the same day, in the afternoon, His Majesty will also preside over the Loyalty Ceremony at the Royal Palace’s Mashwar Square in Tetouan, reaffirming the national spirit and unity between the leadership and the people.
These events are part of the official celebrations, reflecting the symbolic and profound bond between King Mohammed VI and his people, as well as the Moroccan nation.
