Rabat – The Technical Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the selection of Moroccan player Yasmine Demraoui as the Best Player of the inaugural edition of the Women’s Futsal Africa Cup of Nations, which concluded on the evening of Wednesday, April 30, 2025, in Rabat.
Demraoui’s crowning with this prestigious individual award comes in recognition of the exceptional level and outstanding performance she displayed throughout the continental championship. Demraoui played a pivotal and essential role in leading the Moroccan women’s national team to their historic title victory, following a well-deserved 3-2 win in the final match against Tanzania.
In a related context, another player from the Moroccan national team, Doha El Madani, clinched the Top Scorer award for the tournament’s inaugural edition, having successfully netted five crucial goals during the team’s journey in the championship. El Madani’s achievement underscores her attacking prowess and high scoring ability, as well as her significant and positive impact on the national team’s results throughout the competition.
