The 17th International Agriculture Exhibition in Morocco (SIAM) concluded on Sunday in Meknes, on a successful note, once again confirming its status as an unmissable event for agriculture on a global scale.
Placed under the patronage of King Mohammed VI, this 2025 edition, held from April 21 to 27 under the theme “Agriculture and Rural World: Water at the Heart of Sustainable Development,” recorded record participation with 1,580 exhibitors from 70 countries and more than a million visitors.
Chaired by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, the opening ceremony set the tone for an event rich in strategic debates, notably on water management, climate adaptation and food sovereignty, with France as the guest of honor.
Covering an area of 124,000 m² spread across 12 thematic hubs, SIAM welcomed farmers, industrialists, researchers and political decision-makers, fostering the exchange of knowledge and the promotion of agricultural innovations.

- The 5th Ministerial Conference of the AAA Initiative (Adaptation of African Agriculture), demonstrating Morocco’s commitment to Africa.

- The Local Products Hub showcased 530 exhibitors, representing national cooperatives and producers from West Africa, promoting fair trade and the enhancement of local know-how.
Through this resounding success, SIAM continues to assert its strategic role in building an innovative, resilient and sustainable agriculture, capable of meeting the climatic and socio-economic challenges of the 21st century.
