Meknès – Les cérémonies d’ouverture du Moussem de Moulay Idriss Al Akbar débuteront le jeudi 6 août 2026 avec un programme officiel marqué par la distribution de la donation royale au profit de 1 039 bénéficiaires à Meknès et dans la ville de Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, ainsi que par l’organisation des cérémonies religieuses traditionnelles liées à cet événement, selon le programme officiel publié par la Préfecture de Meknès.
Le programme débutera à 11h00 par la distribution de la donation royale dans la salle des réunions de l’annexe de la Préfecture de Meknès à Agdal. 311 bénéficiaires recevront des aides financières, après la récitation de versets du Saint Coran.
À 12h30, la distribution se poursuivra sur l’esplanade du mausolée de Moulay Idriss Al Akbar à Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, au profit de 448 bénéficiaires recevant des aides financières. L’opération comprend également la remise de 4 fauteuils roulants, 49 paires de lunettes médicales, 194 cartables scolaires et des vêtements destinés à 33 orphelins.
Dans l’après-midi, le cortège officiel se rendra à Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, où le programme prévoit une visite du mausolée pour rendre hommage à Moulay Idriss Al Akbar, avec la clôture de la récitation intégrale du Coran, des prières en faveur du Commandeur des croyants, la lecture du Latif, puis le dépôt de la donation royale dans le trésor du mausolée.
Le programme comprend également les cérémonies officielles organisées sur la place Moulay Idriss, avec la participation des confréries religieuses, des récitants de louanges prophétiques (Maddahine) et des groupes Jazouli interprétant les Dalâ’il Al-Khayrat, avant la clôture des festivités religieuses dans la soirée.
Selon le programme officiel, 1 039 personnes bénéficieront de la donation royale, dont 311 à Meknès et 728 à Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, dans le cadre des initiatives sociales accompagnant l’ouverture annuelle de ce moussem religieux.

Meknes – The official opening of the Moulay Idriss Al Akbar Moussem will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2026, with a program highlighted by the distribution of the Royal Donation to 1,039 beneficiaries in Meknes and the city of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, alongside the traditional religious ceremonies associated with the annual event, according to the official schedule released by the Meknes Provincial Authorities.
The program will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the distribution of the Royal Donation at the meeting hall of the Agdal annex of the Meknes Provincial Administration. 311 beneficiaries will receive financial assistance following the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.
At 12:30 p.m., the distribution will continue at the square of the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss Al Akbar in Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, where 448 beneficiaries will receive financial aid. The initiative also includes the distribution of 4 wheelchairs, 49 pairs of prescription glasses, 194 school bags, and clothing for 33 orphans.
Later in the afternoon, the official procession will head to Moulay Idriss Zerhoun. The program includes a visit to the mausoleum to pay tribute to Moulay Idriss Al Akbar, the completion of the Quran recitation, prayers for the Commander of the Faithful, the recitation of Al-Latif, and the placement of the Royal Donation in the mausoleum’s treasury.
The official ceremonies at Moulay Idriss Square will feature traditional religious processions, Maddahine (religious chanters), and Jazouli groups performing Dalail Al-Khayrat, before concluding with the closing religious ceremony later in the evening.
According to the official program, the Royal Donation will benefit 1,039 people, including 311 beneficiaries in Meknes and 728 in Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, as part of the social initiatives accompanying the annual opening of this religious festival.
