The city of Tangier witnessed, on the morning of Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the signing of a significant partnership agreement between the General Directorate of National Security, represented by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Staff, and the Agency for the Promotion and Development of the North.
This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two parties in the field of improving infrastructure and social and sports facilities for National Security staff, through the implementation of various projects under the supervision of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works.
Among the key projects included in the agreement is the upgrading of police headquarters in the Tangier and Tetouan security districts, as well as the regional security headquarters in the city of Al Hoceima, by adding modern and advanced sports halls. The agreement also includes the development of multipurpose social spaces within police buildings in these cities.
This agreement represents a major step toward enhancing the quality of social services provided to police personnel in these areas, contributing to the improvement of security operations and advancing the modernization of public police services for the benefit of citizens.
This initiative is part of the efforts of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Staff, which aims to enhance the quality of social services provided to the National Security community. The Foundation is also working on signing similar agreements with the Agency for the Promotion of Economic and Social Development in the Southern Provinces of the Kingdom and the Eastern Development Agency, with the goal of reinforcing the social, cultural, and sports infrastructure within National Security facilities across different regions of the country.
