In line with efforts to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in the agricultural sector, the Agricultural Chamber of the Fez-Meknes Region is organizing the 8th edition of the Regional Exhibition of Territorial Agricultural Products. The event will take place from February 21 to 26, 2025, in the city of Taza, under the theme “Territorial Products: A Lever for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.” This theme aligns with the objectives of the “Green Generation 2020-2030” strategy, which aims to support young entrepreneurs in the agricultural field.
This exhibition serves as a significant platform for professional agricultural organizations in the region, providing them with an opportunity to showcase, promote, and market their local products. This edition has seen an expansion in the exhibition area, which now covers 2,000 square meters, allowing the number of exhibitors to increase to 80, compared to 48 in the previous edition. The exhibition includes 75 professional organizations representing various provinces of the Fez-Meknes Region, alongside five organizations from the regions of Draa-Tafilalet, the East, and Beni Mellal-Khenifra.
This edition features the addition of two new spaces: one dedicated to tasting and the other to production. These spaces will enable visitors to discover the richness and diversity of territorial products from the Fez-Meknes Region, as well as explore products from other regions, such as dates and saffron.
In addition to the marketing aspect, the exhibition also serves as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and capacity building. A diverse six-day program has been prepared, featuring a series of workshops, cultural activities, and artistic performances. This program aims to highlight the importance of valuing territorial products as part of the national identity and to promote the region’s rich cultural and intellectual heritage.
The 8th edition of the Regional Exhibition of Territorial Agricultural Products in Taza promises to be a noteworthy event, offering a rich and varied program. It reflects the ongoing efforts to support the agricultural sector and enhance the presence of local products in domestic and regional markets.
