Local sources reported that a moderate earthquake was registered near the coast of Al Hoceima on Saturday, February 15, 2026. According to the Spanish Geophysical Institute, the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter scale and was recorded at 3:45 PM local time, near the southern part of the Alboran Sea.
Sources confirmed that many residents in the municipalities of Al Hoceima and Driouch felt the tremor, causing concern among the citizens.
