In the early hours of Saturday, September 21, police officers in the Meknes Security State, in coordination with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, successfully arrested four individuals aged between 26 and 37. They are suspected of being linked to a criminal network specializing in the distribution of drugs and psychotropic substances.
The suspects were apprehended in a neighborhood in Meknes immediately after arriving in a car from the north of the kingdom. The search operation resulted in the seizure of 1,175 ecstasy pills, a dose of cocaine, and a sum of money suspected to be proceeds from this criminal activity.
The verification of the suspects’ data revealed that one of them is nationally wanted for alleged involvement in a similar drug trafficking case.
The suspects have been placed in custody under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, aiming to identify other potential links to this criminal activity and arrest all those involved.
